Here are all the nitty-gritty details you need to make stickers for the Erin Condren life planner 2017- the vertical version. The measurements are made in the colorful planner, not the neutral.

All the measurements are made in millimeters since that is the numbers we use where I am from. Any program you are using; photoshop, illustrator or silhouette can make the conversion for you. You just need to find the document info/preferences and select millimeters instead of inches – if that is what you normally use. Once you have built your sticker kit, you can return to inches and see what numbers you are working with.

From the top – weekly:

Okay, the first number is the width, second is the height

Date covers: 38 x 12 mm

Headers: 38 x 6 mm

Ful box / (half box / quarter): 38 x 48, (38 x 24 / 38 x 12)

Bottom washi Left side – to the last line: 121 x 28 mm

Bottom washi left side  – all the way down: 121 x 36 mm (maybe use 121 x 35, to leave a little room at the bottom)

Bottom washi right side – to the last line: 162,5 x 28 mm

Bottom washi Right side  – all the way down: 162,5 x 36 mm (maybe 35 for a little room at the bottom)

Weekend banner size: 79 mm in width – you decide the height

Gap between days: 3,5 mm x 162 mm

Spacing between lines on bottom: 7 mm

Sidebar dimensions:

The width of lines: 36 mm

The height of the sidebar including the thankful thought box – to the bottom: 220,5 mm

Thankful thought box: 36 x 45 mm

Spacing between lines in sidebar: 7 mm

OBS! All shops I have seen are making the Quote box the same size as a full box, which is larger than the actual thankful thought box – so bare that in mind.

Flag in sidebar: 36 x 11 (4 mm dragged in from the middle of the side)

Monthly measurements:

Banner up top: 162 x 29,5 mm

banner including the row of days: 162 x 35,5 mm

The days under the banner: 162 x 6 mm

goals section: 40,5 x 177,5 mm

Space between the lines in the goals section: 7 mm

date box: 40,5 x 35,5 mm

square to cover the date number: 7 x 7 mm

And that is it! Download the Free cheat sheet I created to go along with this post here. It will make so much more sense to look at the visuals with the numbers.

    1. Hi 🙂

I am sorry to hear that the PDF is looking weird. Maybe try to open it in your browser – like google chrome.
It should be the same for both of us, and when I do that the PDF looks just like I designed it.

I don’t know how you are trying to open the file, but I think Adobe reader could help you out as well (free PDF opener from Adobe)

      I hope that helps 🙂

  1. I’m a sticker designer myself so this is really, REALLY helpful as I don’t own the EC planner and I can’t afford to get one just to measure the boxes!

    Thank you SO much!

    1. I am happy to hear that! Remember that you can always convert the numbers in your program, or online 🙂

  2. Your PDF doesn’t include the Left Side of the Monthly Layout – only the Ride Side. Is this on purpose or an error?

    1. Yeah, that is because all the numbers you would need is on the right side, so that is on purpose 🙂

  3. This is very helpful thank you! I just want to make sure these are the same for both colorful and neutral? Are you going to update your measurements for the 2017-2018 planners also?

    1. I have used these measurements in my neutral planner as well and have not had any problems 🙂
I will not be buying the new Erin Condren, so naturally, I won’t make an updated version.

  4. Hi, thank you for the helpful data but I can not download.
I clicked the link in the email you sent me, but just a blank page came and was nothing happened at all.
I saw the URL on the site, it was ‘about:blank’.

    Any good way to download?

    1. Hi,

Thanks for subscribing to my email list 🙂
It might be happening if you have a pop-up blocker in your browser?

It is a download, so on some browsers, you will need to give permission to download.

I open my files in google chrome and I have not had problems 🙂
      Maybe that will work

    1. No, I don’t 🙂 We only use the metric system here in Denmark.
You can easily convert the numbers online if you need them, before designing.
Also, almost any software that you are designing your stickers in, will have the option to show the metric measurements when you are designing. You can always convert it back to the American, once you are done designing and should then have all the measurements in your size units 🙂

I hope that makes sense 🙂

  5. Thanks for this helpful freebie! Im currently waiting for my EC to be delivered so making some stickers! is the left page of the monthly spread the same as the measurements as the right side you’ve given? thank you! xx
